Crimp nets (crepe nets)
Crepe nets or otherwise corrugated nets are products with a wide range of applications. They can be used both as fencing nets and for technical purposes. Made of durable and corrosion-resistant galvanised wire, they withstand changing weather conditions well. Therefore, they do not require maintenance and painting, and in their raw state they will last for many years.
We manufacture fencing nets from galvanised wire and stainless steel, as well as technical nets from bare steel wire for painting or corrosion protection.
Design features
Creped wire meshes are distinctive meshes made of corrugated wires of different diameters, which have a wide range of mesh sizes. The process of crimping the wire guarantees the stability of the meshes made of it, which do not lose their dimensions over time. The meshes do not become unglued, which can also happen with welded wire mesh. Crimped wire is also a material that is resistant to stretching.
The proposed meshes are manufactured in single or multi-corrugated versions. The first type is a tightly woven mesh product made every single notch. In the second type, the wires are woven every third, fifth and next odd notch, so the net structure is lighter and has a higher clearance.
As standard, crimped wire mesh is available in ready-made sheets, but we can also make a product with individual characteristics to order.
Use of crimped mesh
Crepe meshes can be used to make long fence strings or to fill steel frames. Openwork panels are the basis for constructing lift covers, industrial and transport containers, lift baskets or partitions delimiting storage and technical rooms. In addition, they are an excellent material for cages and pens, machine guards and ventilation elements.
