Galvanised wire
Galvanising is a galvanic process that involves coating the surface of a metal with a very thin layer of zinc. This significantly reduces the tendency of the actual material to oxidise, i.e. corrode. Galvanised wire made of steel is much more durable and resistant to increased ambient humidity or fluctuating temperatures. As a result, it can also be used in outdoor constructions. The increased resistance means that a mesh fence reinforced with galvanised wire or supports for climbing plants made of it will last for many years without the need for maintenance or replacement. The galvanised wire offered by Mostostal-Met can also be used to manufacture other products such as fencing nets, screens, filters, hangers and even artificial Christmas trees. In its basic form, galvanised wire is used in industry, construction and agriculture, such as for fencing pastures. The product we offer is available in a wide range of diameters.
